Interview with Sean Whalin, Founder & CEO of HopSkip

Welcome to the group! We are excited to have you. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background.

My name is Sean. I am a co-founder of the tech company HopSkip, born and raised in the Philadelphia area and I live in Northern Liberties.

Why do you think it's so important to refer leads to one another, or to collaborate vs compete?

Assuming all parties involved want to create more business for themselves- they will achieve that faster and with better quality by working with instead of against each other.

We totally agree! What is your favorite Philly landmark to visit when you're on staycation, or being a tourist in your own town?

Tied between running the trail on the Schuylkill River and hitting Reading Terminal Market.

Favorite thing about working for the company you currently work for:

Waking up everyday knowing that we're solving a challenging problem!

Why do you love what you do?

With a startup we're moving so fast, no two days are the same. Love that. Also, it's really gratifying to get validation from our users that we're solving a real problem and addressing real pain points. That always gets me super pumped.
